In September, Coach Jay Fitzgerald was inducted into the American Swimming Coaches Association’s 2012 Hall of Fame Class.

“It’s a huge honor. I’m very excited about it and very gratified,” Fitzgerald said. “It just indicates I was blessed with a lot of great athletes over the long-term of my coaching career that have done exceptionally well and helped me do a pretty good job. It is a significant honor.”

During Coach Jay's 17 year time at Pine Crest, the Panthers’ boys and girls’ teams have posted a 235-27 record. Coach Jay has helped produced 207 High School All-Americans, as well as 31 individual state titles and 15 high school records.

Congratulations Coach Jay!
